Mariela Dabbah received her M.F.A. from the University of Buenos Aires. An immigrant from Argentina in 1988, she originally came to this country as a tourist. She became a U.S. citizen and has followed the American entrepreneurial dream. She has written several books, including The Latino Advantage and Help Your Children Succeed in School.
